Deposits taken online, records that stay true

Guests pay deposits and invoices from the same link they signed on — card checkout through Stripe, with funds landing in your restaurant's own Stripe account, never held by us. Payments, part-payments, and refunds are recorded against exact, to-the-cent totals; once money moves, the record locks and history is frozen. Reminders go out for what is due, and every location's money rolls up in group reporting.

What it does

Your money goes to your account

Online payments run through Stripe to your restaurant's own Stripe account. Excellent never holds your guests' money, and we never take a percentage of your sales.

Pay where they signed

The deposit is one step after the signature, on the same private link. No separate payment email to chase, no re-typed card forms.

Invoices with installments and reminders

Send invoices, split them into installments, and let the system remind guests about what is due — with every send reviewed and every payment recorded.

Locked once paid

Paid totals and signed amounts are frozen point-in-time snapshots. Your prices and packages can change; your history never rewrites itself.

Refunds and manual payments, on the record

Card refunds run through Stripe; checks and bank transfers are recorded as ledger entries. Either way, the event's money story stays complete and auditable.

The whole group's money in one view

Deposits taken, balances due, and revenue by location and concept roll up in reporting — no per-location exports to reconcile.

Common questions

Does Excellent take a percentage of our event revenue?

No. Pricing is a flat rate per location per month. When guests pay online, standard card-processing fees apply from Stripe, as they would anywhere — Excellent does not add a percentage on top of your sales.

Where does the money go when a guest pays?

Directly to your restaurant's own Stripe account, which you connect during setup and control entirely. Excellent never holds your funds.

Can we record payments that happen outside the system?

Yes. Checks, transfers, and other offline payments are recorded against the invoice so the event's balance stays true. They are ledger entries — clearly distinct from card payments — and lock once recorded.
